Your Calendar should already be half full for 2011!

Today I will focus on being dynamic, I will focus on my potential and walk into my destiny. I will continue to be so super fly and continue to thank god for his grace and mercy. Today I will thank God for making it possible for me to be present. Today I choose The miracle, today and from now on I will be untouchable from gossip, ridicule, hatred and jealousy. Today I will remove myself from every negative entity.Today I am totally independent of the good and bad opinions of others. I am beneath no one and superior to no one. Today I will remember my ancestors because they laid the way with sacrifice and struggle. Today I am a chocolate butterfly soaring, flying high. becoming my possibility.




Do you know where ya going to, do ya like the things that life is showing you. Do you know.  Old songs especially soul music sure can tell the truth. Im very young, but old enough to say that this new music is reeeee-diculous (ridiculous), any who that's a whole different blog, i'll get to that later, much! So I was asking, where are you going, do you know? We are living in times where waiting till the last moment is NOT an option! Especially if you have someone depending on you (kids, spouse or family period). Learning to get organized is very important as well as being prepared for when opportunity knocks on the door.  I hear all the time, I don't have the money to start my business, well news flash no one has the money to open a 30,000 sq. foot facility to manufacture flavored almonds in pretty packages, BUT you can package that one flavored almond that you do very well and everyone loves it at Christmas time. You can sell it at all the markets through out the week and weekend. That could lead to a popular website, 5 new flavors and the original flavor which could become the corner stores new favorite healthy snack. Then you take that money get you some brochures start taking orders, yes it will be slow at first but it's just enough time for you to get all your ducks in a row. You should already be looking at all the farmers markets through out the year, what kind of paper work you need to participate and have that mapped out. Letting your customers know in advance where your going to be so that they can tell their friends that your in there area.  In other words people you've got to start some where! If you are already in business well you know your calendar should pretty much be full of promotional events and things you want to attend for the new year, you should already know where your going!

Stepping out on faith, business, love and life! "The start-up"

As far as I can remember back, I had never been scared to try something new!  I never sought after anyone's opinion on whether something looked good, tasted good or felt good.  As I climbed up the age latter I noticed somethings changed. note: to all the people I love and know personally, this is why you must be concerned about your circle of friends (like Catt Williams said, god bless his soul "you need a tight team") and what kind of energy they exert around YOU!  I began to let others opinion's shape my being. I wasn't as aware of it on a daily basis but one day I woke up and said "self today is the day we will self evaluate"!  Let's just say the next three days were tears, tissue and a lot of knee bending.  I asked the holy spirit how I had gotten here, here was dry, unfulfilled, monotonous and outright just sad.  Waking up and doing the same ole' thang. My soul was not being fed.........period!  I needed more God, support, art, simplicity, community, creativity, real love, truth, individuals not afraid to be individuals, lets just say I needed a lot and I wasn't getting it where I was. You know what I learned, in order to get new results you've got to have a new action. You do the same old shit, you get the same old results!  I was tired of the washing machine and was ready to get in the dryer.

1. first thing first, acknowledging that there was a problem! How did I get to this point!
2. be honest with oneself, if u thought u heard him talking nasty on the phone to another woman don't try to convince yourself that it was his mother! If you saw your best friend in your purse taking a 100 dollar bill, don't pretend that she asked you and you just can't remember when!
3. start cleaning house, and I don't mean with a mop I mean with your mind.  If someone is mentally draining and there not an asset, in the recycle bin they go for someone else to try ( maybe then they'll get it right, everybody deserves a second chance, just not with you!)
4. get a plan- a business plan, a faith plan, a love plan ( you can give instead of always trying to get), a life plan.  I love my people so im going to keep it 100, get up off that ass and plan more than a damn child's 1st birthday party!
5. be prepared to leave it all behind ( and this may happen several times until you get it right) stop trying to hold on to something that's not yours anymore!
6. go ahead you can do it, step out there. all you need is God!  Step out on faith. The most successful sisters and brothers in business, love and life took that leap of faith and you must too, to get to the other side.
7.  this is a big one and goes back to the beginning of my blog.  surrounding yourself around positive people, when you call they come and you the same. being supportive sometimes means sitting your opinions on the shelf and just being there for an ear. if you've got a nay Sayer nine times out of ten, they just can't start their own engine and just like to put sugar in your tank,  to the recycle bin they go!

I have so much to say on this subject and will revisit it in parts, let's call this part " A fresh Start" hell, everyone needs one.
So come on people, it's time to reach our full potential and this is just the beginning.  I have made a lot of mistakes, listened to a lot of bad advice that ended badly, but I didn't give up.. I got up, dusted myself off and kept it movin!  

Two Raccoons this time?

The last time I saw a raccoon he not only tried to come into my bathroom as I was on the toilet, he stayed! Not leaving until his death 1month later. One month later my husband left me. Im thinking at this point animals always show up trying to warn me of the obvious. Do I take heed, not always and despair or tragedy is the end result. Right after the Raccoon shows his face all masked and forceful trying to get my attention for the apparent, my attention is on the fact that raccoons are aggressive and scary as hell not on the fact that my husband was wearing a mask and fooling not only me but our entire circle. Unlike humans before they shit on you, raccoons look you dead in the eye as if there saying "hey fool WAKE UP"!  My husband is gone, thank god! Had I learned my lesson, maybe not!  Cause here comes two raccoons. LMAO. My new room mate screams at the top of her lungs, me and my business partner and one of my bf run to her rescue! Guess who is peering at me like two super hero's as if the were coming to save me in the middle of the night. Now let me tell you that we have been in our new home for three months and never seen a damn squirrel let alone a raccoon!  There they were looking at me, I stood there like "WTF two?" Standing on the glass of our green room not moving no matter what my room mate and BF did, they stayed looking directly at me.  Coming out of my trance I yell out a loud scream and they scramble off. So with that said one month later I told my room mate she had to get her shit and get the hell out. You want to talk about crazy as Carrie!  This chick is nuts and trust that it's generational (well talk about that later).  The moral of the story is if you've got some crazy shit goin and the same flock of birds are at your door step every morning at 5am, run! Cause God is trying to tell you something but your just not listening!
